The growing demand for MBA graduates and having a Work- Ex, I decided to do my PGDM

Securing 97% in CMAT examinations I applied for XISS Ranchi after coming to know from TIME Hyderabad and one of my relative suggested me about XISS being a good management institute in Jharkhand. Therefore, I moved to Ranchi from South India to purse PGDM in Information Technology from XISS.

The classroom teaching and interactive sessions with the Professors provides us with great learning opportunity. The best part is the social field work held every Monday and Tuesday, serving the society. As part of our field visits – we move in and around Ranchi, interacting with people. During our 2^nd Trimester, the institute took us to Central Institute of Psychiatry, Ranchi teaching how patients are being treated there. Team Obscura – The Media Club of XISS provides a great platform for students to explore their creativity and add-on to the extra curriculum of the students. The institute provides with various exposures regarding your interest area.

During the month of November, the faculty suggested my name for the 3week learning experience and visit to Hwasin Cyber University at Busan, South Korea and Busan Kyungsang University where we explored the various opportunities for IT people in the area like software development and 3D Printing. In the last phase of the 3-week learning programme, we visited Vision University Jeonju city where we had a brief understanding of Korean Academics.

It was a good exposure for me enabling me to interact with students abroad. I can clearly say that XISS is working hard to establish its relationships with universities outside India and conducting various student exchange programmes.

I define XISS as a “Down to Earth” as teaches a lot to you-how you behave in the society and how you should treat people irrespective of their social status.
