It's the first week of February and the campus is abuzz with
the preparation activities for Panache 2016.
Staying back after classes to attend meetings and conduct
practices have become a common affair. You can hear the juniors pacing about in
the auditorium trying to perfect their walk for the pageants from across the
hall. Various jamming sessions on different floors have now become a common
sight. The organizing committee now meets every day to discuss and deliberate
in order to remove any kinks before the d-day.
And all of these preparations don't really seem to push our academics to
a relegated space with the onslaught of incoming assignments, tests,
presentations, guest lectures and field work. Although sleep has definitely
taken a backseat in all our lives.
Panache really brings
out the manager in all of us. It really is the time to put all those management
fundas and concepts that we learnt in books(along with a lot of ingenuity) to
put into practice. Panache is the annual cultural & management fest held by
the institute at its premises. Ever since its inception, Panache has stood out
for every graduate and post graduate student in the region, as a platform to
showcase their talent, skill and capability.
This year Panache is back with a
plethora of events, attracting the talents and the crowd from across the city
and beyond. This year, we seek to embody the spirit of management and
progress, through the theme of ‘KRITYA’ - "Paying homage to the great management
techniques developed in each civilization, which eventually led to the growth
and progress of the entire human race". Thus, Panache 2016 presents to you, “‘KRITYA’- action & achievement”.
Where we bring the talent and give them a platform for action &
achievement.
The region witnessed the first edition of Panache in
2007.What started out as an idea to celebrate the student life at XISS has now
evolved as one of the leading and most awaited annual student fests in the region. Panache 2016 will host a motley of events that provides
everyone to showcase their talents ranging from scavenger hunts to debating and
from singing to marathons. With such an exciting lists of events, Panache 2016 awaits your participation:- Computer Gaming: For all those who are familiar with events such as pcw, lo2, and AWSM.
