Belonging
to finance background and getting an opportunity to do an internship with one of
the country’s big four accounting firm has been a valuable and unforgettable
experience.
I
wanted to take what I have learnt in class to real life and put it to use and
KPMG helped me in doing that by giving an inside view to learn the ins and outs
of the business.
My
biggest takeaway from the summer was my exposure to the real corporate world.
The most important lesson I learnt was to work together in a team environment
and to deal with the client company which was a major part of my project.
It
had been tough but so worthwhile. Each opportunity presented its own challenge
and made for an amazing internship.
